The hotel is in a quiet location, with a marvellous and easy-to-reach spot close to everything. Nearby are some excellent restaurants, including the Shiraz Restaurant & Bar, a great place to chill out. The staff were very welcoming, and the room was functional and airy. You also get a scenic view of the sea and Castle Hill from the window.

The staff were super friendly. I had a good-sized room with a king bed and a balcony. The location was wonderful, just a short stroll away from an award-winning museum.

Had a pleasant overnight stay on a business trip and would return. The rooms were beautifully presented and brand-new with quality bedding. The balcony was a nice addition to the room. The location was the best possible, just a 4-6 minute walk from the Reef HQ Aquarium.

The rooms have great air conditioning, offer amazing views, and the staff are friendly and dedicated to providing excellent service.

Its location was top, just next door to nearby bars and restaurants and the supermarket and the market and opposite the Cowboys League Club. Stayed for 1 day and didn't feel like leaving, I would use them next time.

The Hotel Grand Chancellor Townsville is a clean place with excellent views of the town and Castle Hill. The breakfast is savory, the rooms are bright, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Additionally, the location is great for accessing the ferry to Magnetic Island.

This place offers a cozy room with a comfy bed and a balcony, a prime location close to a local ship museum, a fantastic pool, and convenient street parking.

The hotel has a great and easy location next to a listed public art gallery. The area is fantastic, just a short walk to Townsville's business district with easy access to quality restaurants and cafes. Good bar/restaurants are nearby for convenience.

The hotel's employees are outstandingly accommodating and provide a high standard of service. The room was good sized and well laid out with a particularly nice view of the ocean. The hotel's location is great and lovely, right by Reef HQ Aquarium. Next door, there are excellent restaurant options, a pharmacy, and interesting independent stores.

For the price we paid, Hotel Grand Chancellor was definitely worth it. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, like towels and a soap dish. The separate cooking and relaxing area was a nice touch, and the view from the room was amazing. The location was a real winner, as everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, as my mother and wife were not satisfied with their meals.

The balconies in the upper floors did not look very safe. The breakfast in the restaurant was the worst of our trip. Toast and muesli, otherwise everything else cost extra.

This hotel is in a great location, right in the centre of town. It's within walking distance of many great restaurants and all the planned activities for teens. The rooms have wonderful views and the beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast included with my rate was served with quality food.
